Gospel References
These are references I have gathered from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John around five recurring subjects in the Gospels. The numbers count the individual verses in the lists below. Select any reference to read it in the King James Version at eBible.org.
What surprised me
After spending time studying the fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and those that came before them, God led me to then go and study the words of the Messiah in the four gospels.
I was amazed how many times the Messiah refers to the Father, so I wanted to see how many verses were about the Father. I then thought, I wonder what ather topics the Messiah talked about and how often. Again I was suprised to find he spoke about the Father twice as much as any other single topic I could find.
Then as I revewed the other 4 topics, I realized the Kingdom is the Father’s kingdom. The Son of Man is the Son of the Father. Faith continually brings us to the Father, and love begins with loving the Father and reaches out to one another.
