My Family Emblem
As I have studied the fathers, I have tried to understand what their relationship with the Father means for my own family. This emblem is not something I expect other families to adopt. I made it for my family, especially to help my children remember what we are trying to keep before us.
Another family may express these things differently. The purpose of the emblem is simply to remind us where our attention belongs and how we want to live before the Father.
Worship the Father · Honour the Son · Listen to the Spirit
The light represents our Father in heaven, the lamb represents the Messiah, and the dove represents the Holy Spirit.
No other gods: put the Father first above every rival loyalty, power, possession, ambition, or influence.
Do His will: seek Him, listen, and obey.
Strengthen your family: love, teach, protect, forgive, provide, and build up those in your care.
Invite others: share what you have received and invite others to seek the Father for themselves.
